First off, congratulations for WANTING to quit smoking!!

As far as answering, there are a lot of ways, and it also depends on how much you've been smoking. The other answerers are right that if you are pregnant, the safest thing for your baby would be going cold turkey. I'm not going to lie... you're going to have to deal with the withdrawal, but isn't it worth it for the safety and health of your baby?

For the most part, when you deal with withdrawal, you'll just have to tough it out, but there are some things that can help cleanse out the toxins and may help to minimize some of the effects of withdrawal...
Drinking water will help to detox, and taking some supplements that work as cleansers may help as well. Specifically, Apple Cider Vinegar, Green Tea (decaffeinated), Chlorophyll (fantastic cleanser), and even good amounts of fiber and water helps some people (although it's not very comfortable for the lower level of detoxification you get).

All that being said, it's likely that the symptoms should stop relatively shortly after your last smoke (it's never as long as it feels like it is). Your neurotransmitters don't take too terribly long to scream for something they are addicted to after you stop.
Another important thing to note is that no matter how bad it gets, taking more of the drug (and yes, nicotine is a drug) will only make the withdrawal last longer and will be harder on you in the long run. Good luck, and congrats again!

I'm 50 and I've been smoking for over 30 yrs now. Quit once for 54 days (long story).
The only way to quit smoking is Cold Turkey. Everything is in your head. Once you decide to quit just do it. Keep reminding yourself that you DO NOT smoke.
All the pills, gums, patches... are just there to put "you mustn't smoke or you can die" in your head.
In many cases isn't about nicotine, it's about habit...what to do with your hands. That's why you light-up sometimes and ask yourself why you did it.
Try to keep busy (get job at Gas Station...lol). In my case, I had a lot of peanuts in shell (to do something with my hands).

Whats the best way to stop smoking the natural way.
I know you will say WILLPOWER,Patch,gums,inhaleter etccc.
I want to know a better way........like the night before I go to bed can I drink orange juice or something in order to destroy the awful taste that I get in the morning.
And it is this awful taste that forces me to smoke.

go for you! i hope you succeed. we did smoking as a topic for biology at AS level not long ago and apparently the first few days are really difficult, so although you dont want to hear it, you will need lots of will power. if you manage (fingers crossed and good luck) to get past the first week, your alveoli sacs will be back to working as normally as possible, your smokers cough will have started to die down, and your sense buds (in your nose and in your mouth) will start to come back to life. after a couple of months your chances of getting lung cancer, emphysema etc etc will have reduced by about 90% and you wont smell anymore, and then after a year, you'll def have enough to go on a lovely holiday! so good luck !!! you need willpower(sorry, i know you dont want to hear it but you will) and you will need the support of the people around you so that you dont start smoking again!! xxx
