I Cant stop it and cant figure out a reason, most of the people i associate also smoke, I want to stop it. Do i have to stop it by reducing the amount of fags for a day, or can I stop it at once? plz help me on this

1. Start with some pre-preparation by ensuring that you really do want to quit smoking and understanding why you smoke. Are these reasons powerful enough to motivate you when you are faced with those tricky situations? Write down your reasons for quitting. 2. Set yourself a date for quitting. Try and choose a date that will be stress free but when you can find plenty to do to keep yourself busy. Try and set a date within about two weeks of reading this.
3. Ask your doctor for advice. This is especially important if you have health problems or are concerned about issues such as weight gain.
4. Consider finding yourself a quitting partner relatives, work colleagues and friends are a good place to start. Set a date to quit together and you will be able to give each other support.
5. Tell your family and friends about your intentions. Ask them for their support before you quit and explain that you may not be yourself while experiencing withdrawal. When you reach your quitting date rely on those that have been most encouraging for support.
6. Think about starting an exercise program and a sensible eating plan. Again speak to your doctor or dietician. Exercise will give you more energy and help you to relax and relieve stress.
7. You should know what triggers your desire for a cigarette, such as stress, the end of a meal, drinking in a bar, etc. Avoid these triggers while you are trying to quit or if that's not possible, decide how you will deal with the triggers.
8. Decide what you will do when you experience cravings. As we've discussed deep breathing, a short walk and keeping you self busy will help to take your mind off the cravings. Perhaps you can think of other ways. Write them down. Remember these cravings will only last for 3-5 minutes at a time.
9. If you have tried quitting before maybe you came across a stumbling block which we have discussed such as finding something to do with your hands. If so, you need to arm yourself with a solution to these foreseeable problems. Get yourself a pen, or stress relief aid to fiddle with, if occupying your hands is a problem.
10. Be positive and confident you can quit. You have spent time and energy planning how you will deal with the task ahead. You can and will do it if you persevere. Ten of thousands of people are quitting every day around the world. You can be one of them.

Truth about smoking cigarettes!
My experience with Alcoholics Anonymous has been that a lot of the people in the meetings smoke. If 12-Step is such a wonderful program and can keep you from drinking why don't these people us the same program to stop smoking?
Because the 12step method doesn't work.
Folks in AA will give you a song and dance that you shouldn't try to quit cigarettes until you are comfortable with not drinking, and then use every scare tactic they can so that you're never comfortable. They keep you off balance to keep you bound to AA. It is very cult-like in this regard.

I have already unpluged it, but some smoke is still coming out from the sides of it! Plus I put it outside in the backyard! Is it going to blow up or what!?

Is it really smoke or is it possibly steam? What were you cooking before you noticed the "smoke"? Did you cook it too long and therefor burn it causing the smoke? If you burnt food in it, just remove the food.
It seems like when I use to smoke I had no problems getting pregnant,now that I have stop drinking my brandy and stop smoking nothing.What is going on????
I dont know whats going on but stress might be a problem but whatever you do dont go back to old habits its good you quit just relax find something to take your mind of getting pregnant and just let it happen naturally...you might get surprised when you least expect it.
Around 3 times a day, usually at night, our smoke alarm goes off. There's no fire, no smoke, nothing. What's causing it to go off so much and how can we stop it?

It probably is a warning that you need new batteries. Maybe? lol

rough idle and bluish white smoke HELP - Diesel Forum - The Diesel ...
Well another problem with the old 7.3 engine is a used engine put in a year ago, ran fine but a while ago it started ticking, about a week ago it started idling really rough and blowing bluish white smoke from the exhaust, not using any oil, replaced the injector pump and injector return lines yesterday and still the same injectors are about a year old and before I put the used engine in installed new gaskets through out including heads etc, it is blowing smoke at high rpm but even more at idle engine has about 100,000 miles on it, what else could it be? broken valve spring? worn valve seals? any one with some helpfull advise would be great thanks.
